Notes from inside the build.

What we ship, what broke, and which rule in the Qawex Standard actually decided it. Written by the people doing the work, not a content team writing about it after the fact.

Why our AI agents ask before they act

INT-01 says a system defaults to asking for approval, not acting on its own. Here's what that actually costs in build time — and the one narrow case where we published an exception instead of bending the rule.

Quick answer

This is where Qawex writes about the work itself — build notes from real engagements, how specific rules from the Qawex Standard played out in practice, and playbooks for the industries we build in most, healthcare above all. No sponsored placements, no filler roundups. If a post cites a rule ID, that rule is live on a page you can go check.

What you'll find here

Three kinds of posts, no padding in between.

TYPE 01
Build notes
Specifics from real engagements — what a migration actually involved, what an audit found, what a client asked for that changed the build.
TYPE 02
The Standard in practice
One rule, one real decision it shaped. Why INT-06 changed how a chatbot reads a message, why ENG-01 changed what "backed up" means.
TYPE 03
Industry playbooks
Vertical-specific notes, mostly healthcare and dental — what a clinic actually needs versus what a generic SaaS demo shows you.

Frequently asked

How often do you publish?

Roughly monthly, sometimes more when there's an engagement worth writing up in detail. We'd rather publish less and have every post cite something real.

Who writes these posts?

The people who did the work — the engineer who ran the migration, the auditor who found the gap. Not a separate content team writing about the product secondhand.

Do posts ever name real clients?

Only with permission, and identifying details are removed or generalized where a client prefers to stay unnamed. The rule citation and the technical substance stay accurate either way.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes — reach out through the contact page. Topics tied to a specific Standard rule or a real build question tend to get written up fastest.

Is there an RSS feed or newsletter?

Both are planned alongside the blog launch. Until then, the category pages are the fastest way to keep up with one pillar at a time.
